Founded in 1983 by Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, Ohr Torah
joined forces in 1987 with Rabbi Chaim Brovender
and his seminaries for women and men. In 1998, in
appreciation of the generous support of Irving I. Stone,
Ohr Torah Institutions was renamed Ohr Torah Stone
Colleges and Graduate Programs. Today Ohr Torah
Stone (OTS) has close to 3,000 students enrolled in
its network of educational institutions for men
and women of all ages and backgrounds, from all
